WWI German POW Remembrance Death Card 1917
Item: GM4114

Original remembrance card for a soldier in the 1st Infantry Regt. during WWI.  He died of wounds in English captivity on April 10, 1917.  He was awarded the 3rd class military cross of merit and the iron cross 2nd class.  The soldier is pictured with short bio to one side and prayers to inside.
